looks like a BO flop

That's for fulfilling the criteria for Oscar consideration. Netflix doesn't give a dang about ticket sale. They made it very clear by going against major theaters.
shareWith a 6$ million budget and the film earning over 80$ million, I fail to see how this is considered to be a "box office flop".
This film was also forced into limited release after Netflix bought the rights to stream it live in conjunction with the film's release.
The big three theatres; AMC, Cinemark and Regal boycotted the showing in all of their theatres on account that they felt it was a violation of their 90 days exclusivity rights, ergo the limited release.
If anything, the theatre owners are only going to hurt themselves in the end because theatres will eventually go the way of press printing.

Simply go check Wikipedia, it is confirmed that the film has made 90$ million dollars.

Wikipedia: Budget $6 million[2]
Box office $90,777[3]

Beasts of No Nation
Domestic Total Gross: $90,777
Did people seriously think "90,777"[3] meant 90 million? That's incredible.
shareretard is strong in this one
shareYep looks like nobody can actually confirm their estimates of 90m+ earnings in the box office.
It's pretty much common sense. The movie had such a limited release in theatres due to the movie houses banning it for showing it online via netflix. Most people who even knew about the movie either watched it on netflix or even downloaded the pirated version.
Simply put it would be impossible to earn 90m+ in box office earnings from such a limited release and such a low viewing attendance at the box office.
I think Netflix are only looking to give these movies a limited release before they show it on tv.
It's that man again!!
