After seeing this film it got me thinking, should we focus on Africa as much as our nation is focusing on ISIS?

shareTo what end? No one there wants help from the West. Even if they did, what do you propose? Africa has has nothing but civil war and genocide for the last millennia - I'm not sure what you think you can do about that.
shareTribes in Africa have been fighting for hundreds of years. What could we do about it?
I wish we could find a way to prevent them from getting any guns or ammo but idk if that is possible.
As much as we desire world peace, I'm afraid that if it's attainable, it will not be for another several hundred centuries. We can focus on making small changes indefinitely, but when first world countries are becoming chaotic, it's awfully difficult for things to be set in motion to benefit the others. It's very unfortunate.
