I don't watch young adult/teen shows, but someone strongly recommended this show. I can see why. This show is excellent. I think what makes this show good is it's character development. The writers get to the point and you learn relevant things about the characters. These are only 30 minute episodes which makes the writing even more impressive.

It's cast well, and the characters are enjoyable. The humor is dry, quick, and witty. Too bad it's ending with the 3rd season.

After watching the latest episode, it went by so fast that it felt like it was just five minutes long.

I enjoy how they give a lot of time to individuals and their individual stories.

If you like this one, you might take a look at the crime drama Dark Winds with Zahn McClarnon. It has been such a treat seeing him in two programs where he does not play a villain (and the doctor's office scene with him was hilarious, as was the gum-chewing scene during the final credits - I almost believe that was completely improvised).

I watched the first season of Dark Winds. Very good show. I'm really enjoying it.
I much appreciate the suggestion.
