Captains Hayle distrust of the Jedi Makes sense
even though the Jedi were no longer outlawed by the events after Return Of The Jedi, it makes sense they would be still be distrusted by people and citizens of The New Republics thanks to Palpatine propaganda but the Jedi weren't perfect as we have so far From The Acolyte and the Prequels as it shown so the distrust is warranted makes sense why Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati become Dark Jedi and the Imperial Remnant was able to gather power in secret, even Cara Dune didn't seem to trust Luke Skywalker makes sense.
