Batman vs. Bane fight voted the greatest Batman fight of all time

And I completely agree, I might even go as far to say that it's one of the greatest fights in all of cinema.

Tosh!
BvS factory fight is clearly the best if they're only going for screen adaptations and against the Mutant Leader in The Dark Knight Returns if they're going for comics.
I still think that the warehouse fight in BvS is the best fight in any CBM. But Batman vs Bane is a close second place and the greatest 1v1 fight in CBMs, IMO.
As amazing as The Winter Soldier's choreography is, I don't think it beats either of the aforementioned fights.
"voted" lol
shareWatch the video, it’s an objective fact that the sewer fight is the greatest Batman fight of all time. A huge slap in the face to those who say TDKR has objectively bad fight choreography
shareAn objective fact? No it's a list made up my watchmojo. Oh wait actually I agree it is an objective fact.
That also means that last crusade is one of the best third entries ever. Watchmojo made a list of best third entries and crusade made it. Thanks for clearing that up.
Why would anyone argue that the sewer fight isn’t the greatest Batman fight ever when it’s in the damn video?
shareMaybe because they don't agree with it... So the list is gospel truth then? If so that means last Crusade is also objectively one of the best third entries ever. That same channel made a best third entries list.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQWfjDiNdWg
So if it's an objective fact that Batman and Bane is the best Batman fight then last Crusade is also one of the best third entries correct? Can't argue it it's in the video.
I'm not going to get into that because that is not the topic of this discussion but if you are into Mickey Mouse jokes then that's your business.
shareOf course you won't because you can't refute it.
I was only aware of one Mickey Mouse joke in the film. You have yet to provide the second Mickey Mouse joke in that film.
Anyhow if that list is gospel truth and proves that's a good fight, then same applies for last crusade being a great third entry right?
I am not going to engage in such a childish exercise. If you want to talk about Last Crusade I suggest going to that board
shareTranslation I can't refute it. Let me ask this is watchmojo gospel truth then? Just answer that yes or no.
shareNot the gospel truth however it is an objective fact that watchmojo cited the sewer fight as the greatest Batman fight and the greatest superhero duel of all time. That is one hell of an accomplishment and it should be acknowledged
shareSince it is not gospel truth then someone can disagree. It is also an objective fact that watchmojo cited last crusade as one of the best third entries ever. That is one hell of an accomplishment and it should be acknowledged.
shareIt's also preposterous to claim that TDKR has horrible fight choreography when the fight scenes are receiving all kinds of honors such as the one that I posted.
Last Crusade could have a 100% on RT, and MC, be #1 on IMDB, could have won every single Oscar and made over 3 billion dollars and that still wouldn't change my opinion.
It is also preposterous to claim Last Crusade is a terrible third entry when it is receiving all kinds of honors such as the one I posted.
I get that it wouldn't change your opinion and you have the right to your opinion. Thing is that goes both ways. Some people do not like TDKR and no amount of data will change their opinion either.
You can't have it both ways. If Last Crusade's accomplishments has no bearing on your view of the film why do you expect the data of TDKR to sway other people's opinion? See you want to cite the accolades TDKR gets any chance you get. You will not do that for Last Crusade because you dislike it. I myself love LOTR and I have tons of accolades I could shove in people's faces but I do not.
Some people simply do not like the films. I do not like the cherry picking game. If ratings and data mean something for TDKR then we need to acknowledge films such as Forrest Gump and Last Crusade. If you do not care and make up your own mind then quit citing the data when people dislike a film you love. It is as simple as that. You want accolades to be bragged about as long as it supports a film you like. That is called being a hypocrite.
People know the data of TDKR just like you know the data of Last Crusade. Therefore quit citing the data anytime someone dislikes it. You openly acknowledge the data of Crusade and hate it well again it goes both ways. I can openly admit and acknowledge a film is rated high that does not mean I have to like it or that my opinion is invalid because of it.
You are in the minority in disliking :Last Crusade and Forrest Gump. Does that make your opinion invalid because of that?
Objectively I never said that Last Crusade was a terrible film, I said it was my opinion that it's a terrible film and I'm not just pulling this out of my anus, I have cited specific examples from the film that support my opinion.
Sure, go ahead and hate TDKR, that's your business, but when you make claims such as "Bruce quit because of Rachel" expect criticisms because complaints such as those show you don't even understand it. Also comments such as "obviously this film is a disappointment" are open to criticism because the data proves that it's not "obviously a disappointment". You can say "I think it's a disappointment" and then back up your opinion with data and examples from the film but "obviously a disappointment" is a fallacious statement.
Same thing goes for Forest Gump, I never said the data proves it's a bad film, I just don't like it and I have convincingly supported my claims.
The fact that I am in the minority does not invalidate my opinion on Last Crusade and Forest Gump, film is art and art is subjective.
Objectively I also never said TDKR was a terrible film. I do not think the film is good and I personally have always felt the choreography was bad. Also no I think there are more flaws in the film beyond the choreography. That is my opinion.
Again straw man arguments. I never made any of those arguments or comments. Point to where I ever said any of that I will wait. Second no it is not my job to correct people who said stuff I did not. I can turn that right back around on you so do not even go there. Only thing you and I both are responsible for is what we say period.
You did not convincingly support your claims. Your points are weak. Oh it ripped off Back to the future 3 that is the only case you have made. You never convincingly proved that case either. You fit the mold of thinking something is a ripoff if it has similarities. I showed you in exact detail the similarities between the Shadow and Batman Begins and you denied it. You deny it because you like the film. Therefore since you like it that logic does not apply. The best part is you did not even bother trying to refute it. You literally just said I see no similarities that was it. Real convincing dude. Is that all you have to do to deny something? Oh nope it is not true therefore case dismissed.
If it does not invalidate your opinion then do not cite the data of TDKR acting like it invalidates other people's view.
Jeez, you are deprived of all possible logic, aren't you?
shareWhat I liked about the fights in TDKR is that they seemed tiring which is what I would expect in a real fight.
shareI really enjoyed the whole Batman Trilogy. I remember being in awe with the Batman vs. Bane battles while I was watching in it the theaters. All I can say was that the fight was epic. HANDS DOWN.
The sewer fight was amazing I don’t know the last time I was that engaged in a film. I would also make an arguement that the dark knight trilogy is the greatest trilogy ever made and it’s certainly the only one I can think of that has a solid third entry
shareLord of the Rings the Return of the King is better than TDKR. Not to mention if you think that is the only good third entry you need to see more films.
Lord of the Rings the Return of the King.
The Bourne Ultimatum
Before Midnight
War of the Planet of the Apes
Toy Story 3
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Three Colors Red
Avengers Infinity War
LOTR: ROTK is not a third entry because LOTR is just one film. ROTK is just the third act
Didn't like the Bourne films so you won't convince me there
Not into Planets of the Apes
Toy Story 3 shot itself in the foot with that stupid, patronizing ending. Besides Despicable Me is a better franchise.
Last Crusade has too many plot holes, lazy writing and character flaws
Didn't see Three Colors Red
Only saw the first Avengers and thought it was average, Marvel is too campy for me.
Avengers infinity war made more money and is higher rated on imdb. Therefore it is better objectively.
My goal is not to convince you. But with avengers infinity war making more money and receiving a better imdb rating that means it's better objectively.
[deleted]
Because imdb is gospel truth. I am making sure you stick by your standards.
shareWhere did I say it was the "gospel truth"?
shareYou imply it heavily. You say TDKR is the best third entry ever and bring up it's imdb spot on the top 250 anytime someone speaks out against it. Well Return of the King is rated higher and nope it is not all one film. Return of the King is rated individually on imdb and fits the definition of trilogy in the dictionary.
Second now I do not even need that one to derail TDKR. Avengers Infinity War is the third Avengers film and has a higher rating on imdb than TDKR and made more money. Therefore according to the data Avengers Infinity War is the better film.

The Dark Knight trilogy is better than the Godfather trilogy? Surely you jest.
shareI could agree. Bane was physically imposing and a real threat to Batman and everything he valued. That final fistfight was rough and punishing. Hardy produced one of the more memorable movie Batman villains.
