I could watch this movie over and over again. It has great re-play value. I remember being surprised at how good this movie was when I saw it when it came out. I would love to see more movies like this come out.

shareThat’s right, this was a real pleasant surprise. Properly savage, well-directed+nicely paced, and satisfyingly action-packed. Karl Urban as Dredd? Utterly perfect.
Puts the 90’s version to absolute shame. Nevermind, that one never existed! (*Continues to fawn over Diane Lane and that fight she has with Joan Chen’s character*.) 2012 Dredd should’ve been a hit.
Great movie indeed and a Sequel is needed with both Karl Urban and Olivia Thirlby returning.
shareAgreed. I don't know many movies that have the same replay value as this one does. Even if you aren't watching it and just have it playing in the background, the ambiance is entertaining enough to listen to. I guess Terminator 2 is the only one I really compare it to. It's one of those movies that you would want to take with you if you were stranded on an Island and only had a limited amount of storage space in your bag.
