In social media, I've seen the meme depicting DiCaprio celebrating with a class of champagne being used a lot when it gets used to taunt haters.

The caption is - "Cheers to my haters. There is so much more to come!"

Because I've not seen the film yet, what is the meaning of the meme?

I'll be grateful if anybody could explain this, thanks.

It's just a scene from gatsby when he first meets the main character played by tobey mcguire.

Ive seen it used and used it myself to congratulate others, like when saying "well played my friend, well played". Kind of a "hats off to you sir".
