My Review (Spoilers)
The movie is similar to Wicker Man in plot, but I let movies stand on their own, and don't condemn them for being similar to other movies, if they handle material well.
The ritual itself was pretty cool, you can't really question the psychopathic horrors of this ritual, when the historical record of mankind has shown we are capable of far worse.
I like Aaron Ashmore, he's the only decent actor in the movie, though I suppose the locals did a fine job as well.
In the end you kinda gotta be on the side of the locals, though if they were smart they'd put a wall up around the fog, no?
Overall I enjoyed the movie, it wasn't as silly and badly scripted as Insidious which I saw recently.
The "Help me Marcus" at the end was a pretty sweet final manipulation, ya it's been done before, but it was done well here.
Pretty decent ending, though the final dialog was weak.
I love when the killers are in the right.
