Just saw the movie; bad dialgoue, awkward acting, fake Polish people
but it was all worth watching because the last half hour of that movie was pretty good, I gotta say. Was totally not expecting any of that. When the girl goes missing and Carmen ends up in the woods and sees the statue, I knew right then that that movie had potential, cause of the way they shot that scene. It was really spooky and it made me unease. But I didn't expect for the movie to make such a drastic turn, after the guy comes back to save her, the mood all changed, the main girl--Carmen kept seeing scary flashes, and that poor family was held hostage. I liked it all.
I'm gonna recommend it, for sure-- it has a good and original story. It's a shame though that they couldn't actually go to at least some woods in East Europe, or at least get some Polish actors. It all seemed so candianish. But whatev.
