OMG This was so good and different, my take...

Wow, I loved this movie! I like the inital set-up (thinking the villagers were cultists like in the Wicker Man).

the fog, the statue which turned and looked at her, yes? THAT was so so creepy. I had to watch it again to see if it did change its vantage point.

I liked not knowing what the Poles were saying. It made me come to my own conclusions to figure things out.

Also, I loved the fact that the main hot chick didn't survive.

The movie could have been longer.. that is my one complaint.

Of all the random horror movies I've watched on Netflix, this was one of the better ones.

That's how I feel exactly. Very refreshing and non-hollywood production. In hollywood films girls or kids pretty much always survive and it was refreshing and non-cliched that it actually didn't go this way. I was expecting the guy to die horrible death first (as guys usually end up) but at the end scene everything was crystal clear why and how it didn't go this way.
