I hate movies where characters put themselves into obviously dangerous situations for no reason. In this case, the reason was 'my career will be over!' Hard to feel very concerned for anybody when they're all truly idiots. That boyfriend should have walked out at the beginning of the film and never returned. And most rational people would have.

shareCarmen totally did know it was dangerous, she thought there was something like Hostel going on in that village (lots of missing people, suitcases turning up in cities they'd never been to, local police not interested in looking into it etc) and she was going to make her career by breaking the story.

Obviously, my thoughts are that if they could have done something else they would have. And they were gonna kill Markus until he saw. Yes it could've all been prevented, lol. They could've told them the truth, but most idiots have to find out the hard way anyhow, right? They told them to leave but of course they didn't listen (except Markus. Poor guy. Stupid gf) I don't know why they even sent those missing people's bags back. Those are loose ends,leads to idiots going looking for answers. I knew from the beginning what it was. Kind of cliché but I enjoyed it. Reminded me of, The Ruins, good flick. I recommend it. The Ruins was a much better movie. Also have a sequel. Moral of the story is, if they're hiding something; its for a reason. Let it go. Lol. If it were me, this movie wouldn't have taken place.
