Hi.
Will a person that liked legally blond like this?
a 5.2 rating in IMDB is low, but usually my girldfriend likes movies from 4 to 7, with a few exeptions. She likes dumb movies.
What kind of crowd likes this?

This isn't really a dumb movie, in my opinion it's fairly above your average romcom in complexity and wisdom. Its realization is not perfect though.

I wouldn't call it any of those things. It was a beautiful movie. And I usually avoid chick flicks cuz I think its just not my type. But this movie was good. The emotions were played just right and the acting was believable. I felt happy while and after watching it and thats all I would expect from a movie like this.
P.S. I love Reese Witherspoon :)
my favorite movie of 2010...and maybe just the best.
It's a romantic comedy but written at a much higher level.
I am extremely disappointed at the mixed critical reception which is just an indication of how dumb the so-called bloggers are.
I had low expectations for the movie, but I do like all of the main actors... I was pleasantly surprised... I gave it an 8...
You people are the disease, but I've got the cure. ~Morgan on "Chuck"
An 8?!?!?!?! Are you insane? This movie had one of the most awful screenplays ever. The plot changes were abrupt and had no development behind them.
Reese's character was absolutely atrocius. She gets mad at the Matty for being who he is, then accepts him, then leaves him, then goes back to him, then leaves him again for George. And, the reasons for everything in between were just so corny, trite, predictable, and most of all BORING!
Wilson's chracter was kinda stupid. When he gave her gifts he would rush her, and then wanted her to be more excited about the gift and even forced her to say specific phrases?? Just stupid...
Rudd's character was the most believable but we get almost no character development, which i guess goes for all the characters. I remember seeing the scene where his office assistant had the baby and the baby's father professes his love to her and i thought wow just this scene has given me more character development for the office assistant than all the other characters in the movie combined.
Its important to remember though that none of this was the actors' faults. The cast was obviously star-studded and they performed the horribly crafted characters in the movie. The fault lies with the writer and the director who elicited horrible characters from all.
It's like you just strung a bunch of words together just to be a dick.
The movie is crammed with character development and every character gave considerable thought to their actions.
By the way, gave it a 9.
