That makes no sense at all. I know the saying is there is no such thing as bad publicity, but as Mel Gibson has proven, that's not necessarily true.
Winning a razzie is a chance to show what a good sport you can be, like Sandra Bullock was last year. But overall, it's not a good thing on one's resume.

It was not really a movie that was up to expectations considering it was a James L.Brooks movie.
It definitely fell short.
