How can such great talent be wasted?

Rudd, Jack, Owen, Reese + No Plot and Whining is such a waste of talent.
I was sadly disappointed. How do I know? Because I sat thru most of this except for the last 12 minutes which I literally fell asleep.

This movie is one of the worst romantic comedies ever, the dialogues are so plain and just meaningless, and with such a cast you'd expect a lot more from it. I sat through 1 hour and 10 min of it until I could take it no more. this movie is just crap, I'm sorry, but that's the truth!

Ditto...ditto...ditto. It has to be the worst script EVER for a movie. I was bored to death, despite the really rad cast. How did it ever get a 5+ IMDB rating?

Include James L.Brooks to that list.
But honestly,this movie is about character studies than that of having a plot.
Nothing else.

I would agree with you except there was no character development; especially from the main girl. She stayed the same the beginning to the end.
