DVD viewers: What happens in the original ending?
It's on the DVD as an extra. The ending shown in theaters was created after preview audiences said the original ending made them dislike Witherspoon's character.
shareI watched the movie today and have already sent it back to Netflix without watching the extras. How did it end in the extras? At the end of the movie on DVD she went downstairs from the party to where he was waiting for her on the sidewalk. Jack N. was looking from his balcony and saw her come to his son. He smiled, and turned and went back in to his lawyers. Then it showed Lisa and whats-his name sit on the bench, the bus came along and when it pulled off, the bench was empty. The end.
So what was the other ending. ??
