Nothing happened too quickly, we were given the chance to develop as the characters developed, they didnt bombard us with unnecessary information - it was nice

sharemaybe that's why you didnt like it, after seeing James Brookes name one would expect a comedy but this film obviously isnt. So if you are commenting on the movie as a comedy I can undersatand your disappointment. But as a romantic comedy I find this movie to be slighlty more on the realistic side than what we are usually subjected to by hollywood. and i like the fact that they didnt spell everything out for us like we're morons but let us figure stuff out on our own
shareI am just baffled at how low the ratings are for this movie. I may not be a guys guy but as someone who isnt crazy about romantic comedies/chic flics I REALLY enjoyed this movie.
Movie buff, ya right who watches TV anymore
I watched it last night and quite enjoyed it actually. The actors acted really well. I think Owen had some trouble playing such a dumb character, but he didn't do that bad a job.
Reese, Paul, and Jack's expressions were dead on! I loved loved how Jack becomes happy for his son (from the rooftop) for a second and then realizing the consequence, his expression changes ... that was HILLLLARIOUS!
I really liked it, don't know why it's getting all these bad reviews. I also don't understand how they could've spent $120M on this movie!!! Where did that money go?
