Cute story But way too long

I have know idea why IMDb shows a runtime of 1:21 when it was almost 2:15 when I dvr'd it. Had it been ahorter this movie would have been much better. A half hour cut out and some definitely unnecessary scenes would have helped so much. That is the editor's fault. Way too many scenes that I fast forwarded through.

Also, Paul Rudd just seemed too silly in the part to me. Some one more like a Hugh Grant would have done better with that part, but he is a bit old now. Owen Wilson was the best part for me, expecially at the end.

In the end I'd say a 90 min film would be much better, there just weren't enough characters to make it that long. I wish we had seen more of Georg's secretary, the pregnant one..she was great.

Kathryn Hahn (Annie, the pregnant secretary)is a scene stealer in everything she's in, and was the most interesting character in this overlong, boring effort.

100% correct, Cute story BUT WAY TOO LONG. It was so god damned slow and had so much padding I felt like screaming. This movie could quite easily have been edited down to not much over 90 minutes. It could have been a snappy comedy that one could watch numerous times, but instead it ended up just another forgettable comedy on the scrap yard of overly long and forgotten features..

Comedies should be no longer than about 100 minutes (Maximum) and critics really need to start punishing movies that outstay their welcome and encourage well edited shorter films as being superior to bum numbing, pointlessly overlong features.

Yes...way too long. So many superfluous scenes that really didn't add anything to the movie. Would have been much better if cut down.
