Terrible movie, but Owen Wilson
owned every scene he was in. He made this movie watchable. Otherwise, I would have turned it off.

Totally agree. We shut the film off once and when I started watching it again, it only picked up once Wilson got more screentime. Everything else was just horrible.

Truth be told, I had to see you one more time, even if it was from a distance.
At least two!

I loved this movie I thought it was so cute. Owen was good but so were Paul and Reese, they all did a good job.
shareAgreed, thank god for Wilson. This movie was tedious, I had to watch it in chunks because I just couldn't sit still.
The concept of having two 'confused' protagonists just did not match with this format. Else it was the acting. "Funny" optimist protagonists undergoing life crises with broken dialogue to supposedly match their unsure psychological states whilst remaining a rom-com? What a concept. It just didn't click for me at all. It felt very unpolished.
it's a dirty world Reich, say what you want
He was the reason I managed to sit through this movie. 😴
shareI am of the opposite opinion in that this film had two big problems, Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson.
Frankly Owens character wasn't funny in the least and at its best was simply cringeworthy. As regards Jack, I am sure he valued the fee for turning up, as that is all he did as his performance had as much life as a dead beetle.
