Longer version on Apple+

Does anyone actually have Apple+ out there, and moreover, does anyone actually care enough to compare the two versions yet? I'm semi-curious if the longer version is any better or has more battle scenes.

reply

Most people have Apple+ they just don't know it. iPhone has 15% market share, every owner of iPhone has Apple+. I have an iPhone but I never use the Apple+ app once.

reply

That's false, people that buy a new Apple device may get a limited trial period, but it's not free to "every owner of an iPhone".

Appletv+ has some great shows. I get it for like 2 months a year. I want to see Bad Monkey so once all the episodes are out I'm going to subscribe to Appletv. I'll check out the directors cut of Napoleon too. I wasn't a fan of the theatrical cut, so I'm not really expecting much.

I'm taking advantage of their free weekend. I started Napolean, and then by chance found they had the longer Directors Cut, so I started over with that. Have already seen a few sequences that were left out of the theatrical cut, and think the added scenes work well. If you're in for a near 3 hour historical epic, might as well see the whole thing.

Does the world really need more of this movie?

Was the sequence with the nuns marching to the guillotine and being beheaded in the theatrical cut?
