Anyone planning to watch the Supergirl/Flash musical crossover?

I realize that Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist have appeared together in five episodes, though I don't know why they counted Supergirl as being part of the four-night crossover considering that Barry and Cisco didn't show up until the last five minutes of the episode.

They have a lot of musical talent on those shows; Grant, Melissa, Jesse L. Martin and Carlos Valdes plus John Barrowman has expressed interest in starring in the episode too since he comes from a theater background.

I definitely will. I love both shows and I love musicals.

Do we know if Joss Whedon is directing them yet? 😃

As great as that would be, I'm assuming Joss is still under contract to Marvel.

Still, that would be a bit of irony considering that two actors who used to be on Glee star in The Flash and Supergirl and that show was sent to a time slot that's known as the "F@ck you Joss Wheedon" time slot.

What would be really awesome, since I'm assuming he's going to be the "Villain of the Week" for that episode, would be if they got Neil Patrick Harris to play The Music Meister.

He voiced him on the ep of Batman: The Brave and the Bold that he appeared on.

While I love all their voices, I'm not sure how that would work in a cross over episode singing in super hero shows

Edit: Apparently Mister Mxyzptlk is going to be the villain for that episode. Considering that he has reality warping abilities, it does fit that he could cause everyone to start singing.

The rumors about Music Meister were shot down but they're still hinting that NPH could play Mxyzptlk as an homage. The episode is coming up and they're keeping who's going to be playing Mxyzptlk, assuming he's the big bad for that ep, under wraps.

Maybe they're doing it as a surprise?

Incorrect. Darren Criss WILL be playing the Music Meister, making it a real Glee reunion.

It's a shame Joss Whedon won't be involved, but you can't win them all.
