The clown!

Is it just me, or does it seem like one of the defining factors in people not liking this show or not, is whether the clown bothers them. Is clownphobia really a thing? I mean I didn't like clowns when I was a kid. My parents had this clown painting in my room when I was 3 and it gave me nightmares. I swear even to this day that that clown not only had teeth, but gnashed them at me. What the heck parents... don't scare a kid like that. Hanging an evil clown on the wall over your kids crib. What the heck!??

But I'm over it now. Most of the time. It took me a while to realize that the clown in Children's Hospital didn't have teeth and wasn't out to get me, but once I got there I was able to enjoy the rest of the show and laugh at the other jokes. Especially when the clown is not on the screen.

The world just isn't ready for a show with a clown as a main character. I know that our society is more progressive than it used to be, but I think this one needs to wait for more clown acceptance. Racism against clowns is still frighteningly high. Maybe they could put some makeup on the clown actor to make him look more like a human? It's worth a shot, and would lead to less 3 year olds getting nightmares. Thanks.

Keep fighting the good fight.

I don't know. I laugh DAMN hard at everything he says. I'm not afraid of clowns though.

Took me until the 3rd paragraph before I realized what was happening. Good job.

In S03E03 they revealed that Blake is actually black too with the most horrifying use of black face I've ever seen.
