why didnt they zip up their jackets fully?

why didnt they zip up their jackets properly, they could have stayed much warmer, also put their hands in their pockets,if they had covered their faces, it would have helped.
also why didn't one of the men give the woman one of their gloves when she lost hers, chivalry is obviously dead.
another thing the wolves, where did they come from, are they in the habit of chasing and killing skiers, the slope may have been closed, but how did the wolves know this?
i loved this film, but just a few of my questions

Well the wolves were necessary to increas the sense of 'danger' once they made it to ground level, even though it was unrealistic (suspension of disbelief needed)

Why should one of the guys give the lass a glove? Women want equality don't they? That means no more chivalry.

Anyway the lass should have put her hand in her coat pocket or something, instead of leaving it out in the cold ALL NIGHT!!

Okey... So... Why didnt they have cellphones? Is it normal to not bring them while on the mountains?

I guess everybody is different, but we go skiing 2-3/year, and I've never brought my cell on the slopes, I've always left it in the hotel room or the car.

I'm there to ski, not to call people. It never occurred to me to bring my phone.

Now in the movie, one of the main guys said he didn't want to bring his phone because he didn't want to be interrupted on the slope, and he deliberately left his in his locker.

I've read a lot of criticism about them not zipping up or covering up their faces, but it doesn't bother me because, for me, it just falls under the category of making the characters more visible to the viewers.

Of course, if this really happened, they'd zip up and cover their faces. But it wouldn't really work to watch a film with the characters' faces all covered up for 90 minutes. I, likewise, am forgiving if doctors' faces are not always covered up during medical procedures, etc.

But overall, yeah, the filmmakers had to really stretch several things to set up the scenario and add intrigue. The wolves were a hard pill to swallow. But I still thought it was a decent film to watch on cable.

It'll be pretty hard to hear what they're saying

I was thinking this the whole time. I just kept looking at all those unzipped hoodies and all that skin exposed and hands hanging out. sigh...these people. -_-

hahaha, nice one jpdhadfield

The EXACT same questions were running through my head while watching it. I even rewound the movie after finishing it to see if Joe Lynch was smart enough to put his hoodie up over his head at any point........he wasn't.

One thing I thought of (and I am not disagreeing with you, because I would have zipped up mine), is the metal zipper sticking to their faces, sort of like her hands on the metal bar. Peel that off, ouch!
