If that were me, I'd have been making as much noise as I could...

all the time. Not just once or twice but over and over. Banging the skis on the metal rail would have been a quick and easy way to make some noise. Maybe used the lighter to set fire to something to get noticed. They seemed to give up on shouting for help pretty quickly.

but no one was around so u would have used up more energy quicker, slept and died!
