No cell phones...?

The fact that ALL THREE of them forgot them in their locker is enough to dismiss this movie as idiotic and ridiculous. Normally I would expect at least two of them to have their cell phones, but the fact that not ONE of them has it is too absurd to enjoy this movie one bit.

I don't know I probably would have left mine back at the cabin too so as to not mess it up.

Moreover, you rarely get any signal up there...

They didn't forget them - they left their phones behind on purpose so as not to be disturbed

It's a dumb reason, but not an incredible one

Another logical reason would be to leave them behind not to break them in case they fall...
I don't take my mobile phone when I go skiing for that very reason.

Why bother watching a movie if you aren't even going to pay attention? Nobody "forgot" their phone.

It was clearly stated by the guys that they purposefully keep their cell phones in their lockers while skiing so as to not be bothered or interrupted by the outside world during their little bromance trips.

Parker I assume did the same thing to go along with their "rules", to help her fit in with them better.

Obviously they weren't expecting to be stranded on a chair lift for a week...

It's fine if you just simply didn't enjoy the movie, but don't knock it for coming up with a new way to get rid of cell phones instead of the usual "Oh no, No Signal!" cliché.

Most people I know never have their phones on them when skiing/snowboarding. If you lose that on a snowy Mtn, you're basically screwed. Best to keep it locked up safe in a locker where it won't get lost, wet or damaged. Not to mention, what are you going to do with a cell phone on a Mtn anyway? Take selfies while boarding down the slopes?

I don't know where you're skiing, but where I go there isn't any service.
