When the wolves were tearing that guy apart (which was ridiculous enough), they could hear every detail of it very loudly, despite their altitude...the girl even had to cover her ears? From that high up they would barely have been able to hear the wolves barking, let alone the guys skin being torn apart. What a ridiculous movie with such a stretched premise they had to bring WOLVES into the whole thing.

And two, it's a movie. It had to be done that way to be effective. It's not a documentary so they don't have to make it realistic.
