Oh my gosh the movie WAS so intense!! I had my hands to my head in a OH MY GOSH kind of way on the more tense moments and my finger tips were sweating! It was like I just couldn't handle the pressure! I just loved the scene when the guy with the broken legs got eaten by the wolves - not for that fact but the way it was filmed when the other guy just about to climb across the wire, paused and then turned back. Like everyone else, I'm sure, I was thinking what's wrong? Why have you turned back? And then.......just loved it!

Nope, he's actually right, your body has a failsafe in place, hardwired into our nervous system, that will either make any body part go back to the previously warm place, or if you cannot, it will wake you up, even when the temperature difference is quite small, nevermind going from reasonably comfortable to freezing! Have you never woken up cold with the covers kicked off or slipped off you?

Surprisingly good movie. Could not take my eyes off the screen. Top notch suspense. 10/10
Uhh they were 50-60 feet up in the air even if they did your human chain idea that's STILL a hell of a drop

One of the stupid things he did before jumping was to take off his snowboard. It would have lessened the impact by evening his weight over a larger area.
In any case, there's no way for his bones to come out like that after jumping into snow..

Also, when it's that cold, covering your face is the last thing you'd want to do. Your breath will instantly freeze.
