Got this on sky box office last night even though i have a massive phobia of sharks (i keep thinking i can overcome it if i see them more- well i was wrong,) OMG these people must have been terrified, i am now knackered after waking up at 2 this morning from a nightmare that i was left on a sinking boat with a load of great whites in the water. Did anyone else find this as scary as i did
I was waiting for my hearse what came next was so much worse
If it gave you bad dreams for that night only, it's quite all right then.
:P
But I think I know what you're going through though. I live again and again that scene where the guy who was guiding the group looks though his mask, turning around, tightening his eyes to observe anything through misty underwater -- and then there some distance off he notices that bulky tiger floating perfectly still, hovering at the spot, feeling their presence back. Guys, it's a shark.
I watched this yesterday aswell as Sharks after Dark and I had a shark dream, although I wouldn't call it a nightmare as such, I didn't jump awake and I wasn't scared.
I was eaten by a shark, but somehow escaped, which is slightly odd.
I would say sharks scare me, if I ever saw one up close I would probably be terrified if it was a great white, tiger or another known man eater. But on screen, books and everything else I find them fascinating. Infact I am looking to buy more shark movies, but there are a lot of bad effects and/or terrible acting out there.
Yes I was terrified watching this movie. It would be my worst nightmare to be in open water being stalked by a shark. It was really well done and made me feel physically sick with tension and fear. Cracking movie, but I would not recommend it to the faint hearted. No way.
I didnt have nightmare , but i am the same as OP .. SHarks scare the crap out of me but i always watch films like this .. and im the same , i would crap myself if that shark was stalking me in the water with nowhere to go.
