This movie sucked up until the birds showing up. Besides the board room scene, there was really nothing of note.

HOWEVER...

Once we cut from those quiet, idyllic shots to the random birds flying everywhere, I haven't stopped laughing. From the coat-hangers to the acid vomit to the "YEAH...THAT'LL BE FUN!" to the "There's some dead people on the side of the road...let's see if there are any survivors" to the "ooo...Mountain Lion, gotta go" to the main guy putting two and two together with a fishing pole and grill, this movie has been genius ever since.

I'm losing it right now.

JAWS - best film ever made.

if you get the chance, make sure to watch the film again with the help of the former mystery science theater 3000 crew, over at rifftrax.com. they did a commetary track for this movie, and my lungs nearly burst from laughing. they somehow managed to make the film even funnier than it already was, lol:)

The rifftrax definately helps for the first half of the film when nothing happens, and later when it gets even stupider.

I watched it with the Rifftrax version. Some funny lines, but the film is just so unbearable. The first half especially because it almost feels more like some really bad educational date film.
