What Worked In this Movie
The music was great. It was lifted from online library tracks, but it was indeed awesome.
The gore make-up was actually okay, and looked as realistic as most movies.
The last shot in the movie: Despite the terrible special effects of birds flying away who actually don't move, the composition of the shot is perfect for this kind of movie. I'm talking about the four actors staring out into the ocean while the credits roll. That worked.
Whitney Moore is gorgeous and great to look at, and she's very likable. Not as bad of an actress as the rest of the cast, though she's probably judged by association.
And last but not least, this movie was never boring and very watchable. The movie had terrible acting, directing, camerawork, editing, sound editing, and of course the unforgettably awful special effects. But somehow, the director managed to put all these atrocious elements together brilliantly and deliver a very entertaining movie.
