I'm almost embarrassed to say I never thought a fashion designer could make something so beautiful and deep.

I just rented and watched it from Netflix..I watched the movie first, then with the directors commentary...stunning movie...kept my interest from beginning to end..great cast...and deserving of all the awards and nominations.

visually is quite a beautiful movie.. it reminded me of Wong Kar Wai's style, specifically In the Mood for Love

and it surprised me too that Tom Ford was capable of doing this since i find him a little tacky as a fashion designer

Yeah I definitely got an In the Mood for Love vibe too.
