so much potential, so small scale and simplistic (spoilers)

Here are my main issues.

1.the skrulls easily could have gotten control of multiple world leaders and simultaneously started a global nuclear holocaust

2.Furys insistence "he has to solve this alone" when he constantly failing and stumbling and the entire human population is in jeopardy is dumb. His Magnum opus, creating the Avengers was entirely based on the opposite philosophy.

3. The skrulls "justification" just seemed like one of those "we need the bad guys to be angry for angers sake".

4.Fury really didnt improve by the end. i get they were going for the whole "old man shadow of his former self" arc but how did he improve by the end? he just didn't fumble and bumble as much as before, but still did pretty bad.

5. Talos was the most interesting character with his history as the Skulls former war leader who had been replaced and was no longer the man he was but still kept trying. but even then Emilia Clarkes character was boring as hell. After an entire series can anyone name a single character trait she has?

6. the writers were clearly lazy and went for the smallest "global invasion" i have ever seen. they tried to make it feel worldwide but in reality having some single decrepit Russian base of operation was the easy way out for writers

it seems they didnt want to try anything big, complex, challenging or intricate. They went for the safest route possible. ultimately it boils down to Fury needs to stop this one bad guy at this one base ultimately by convincing one person (the president).

THe intro music and credits was the best part of the show. unfortunately the show didn't match that extremely creepy trust no one infiltrators vibe.
