So, is it supposed to be implied that Rhody was a skrull almost the entire MCU? That's kind of a big disappointment. Especially since it means Tony got angry at Sam Wilson over nothing. And he never even got to find out his friend was actually a skrull. I'm one of the few on here who liked this show. But that's a pretty big plot twist on the MCU. Oh and not to mention that Tony Stark's best friend wasn't even with him through out his whole life as Iron Man.
shareNah it wasn't the whole time but supposedly it happened before this new US president took office. Also when he was freed it seemed he had trouble or couldn't walk which would seem to imply that he could have been replaced shortly after the Civil War battle when he was still recuperating from the leg injuries.

If you see him being freed on the final episode of SI, you'll notice he's still in a paralysis state and in a hospital gown. That means the Skrull took over during or after the events of Civil War when he was in the hospital.
