Worth watching?
Sounds interesting, but most reviews I've seen say it's not good.
shareIt's fun for what it is. A sensationalized version of events (there's stuff involving the real mob that's ridiculous and too on the nose). Critics were expecting a prestige drama.
If you liked Pam and Tommy, then this is the same vein.
I'm on episode three and it's pretty entertaining. I don't know how factual it is, but it's entertaining.
shareIt's really good, from the perspective of a Producer and the hell they have to go through to get a movie produced.
shareIt is amazing.
shareThe reviews don’t say it’s not good, but they are mixed. They’re right it could’ve been shorter by eliminating some subplots. (For example, I fast-forwarded through the scenes about the Ruddy/Francoise relationship. It was tiresome and dragged down the story.) But most reviewers agree that the series is entertaining. And I loved their showing how this legendary film miraculously came together despite an endless parade of crises & obstacles (like Evans insisting Robert Redford or Ryan O’Neal play Michael Corleone. OMFG.). OP: you should give it a shot.
shareI think it's worth watching, if you like The Godfather, which narrows it down to just about everyone, then you'll like this.
A very solid mini-series that doesn't take weeks to watch. lol...
