I loved Dane DeHaan and the film score! Any similar films ?

I had abandoned the film before after the first few minutes, but tonight I managed to watch it in full for the sake of Dane DeHaan. And I enjoyed it more than I thought!

I liked the plot very much i.e the characters' obsessions with each other. I also loved the film's score and some of the actual soundtrack! 🎼

I dislike Daniel Radcliffe so I was more than appalled at the sex scene between his character and Lucien's lookalike. I really don't mind the queerness in this movie, but I do believe that if Lu's character had been a woman instead of a man, the film would've been an easier to digest romantic crime drama.

Could anyone recommend some similar movies in terms of plot - dramatic obsessions re: romantic interests? But preferably between straight characters, as opposed to bi/homo-sexuals.

I don't have anything comparable but wanted to say I did the same thing-it took me three times to watch past the first few minutes (AKA pay attention!)--but glad I did. Hope someone answers you soon.

I'm not a Harry Potter fan and in this movie Radcliffe continually had me reminding myself he wasn't the Roseanne Johnny Galecki. Or maybe my being up more than 24 hours has me hallucinating...
