things that always bug me

Michael surviving the end of the first at all. A bullet to the head seems pretty definitive.

Loomis surviving the end of the first movie is also ridiculous.

And it's never really explained how Michael escaped in between the parts. The scene where he kills the two paramedics seems like it could be part of Laurie's dream, or maybe an urban legend type deal. But if he was just gone from the Myers house with no explanation, seems pretty clear he's still alive, and him being dead with no body as proof wouldn't even be pushed like it was. They say the line about the police losing the body and not explaining. So maybe what we saw is how it happened and then the cops covered it up
