ever get greenlit. It's beyond me? You would think network execs don't like to bleed money, then why not ensure a minimum standard for a sceenplay.

It didn't start off half bad, IMO. It got bad by degrees and then slid into the realm of downright awful. Good premise and actors, terrible execution and writing.
sharethe show had ZERO suspense, was spineless, everything resolved within each episode, the dialog was terrible, there was no character development whatsoever.
A show like this would have delivered two decades ago, but cinema did evolve meanwhile.
