Look alike actors on V

I just got done watching the original "V" (which I had never seen before since I was in diapers when it originally aired) and I thought for sure the guy playing "Mike Donovan" was Kevin Bacon. Bacon had just started his career in the mid 80s so yeah, he didn't look exactly like the Kevin Bacon I know, so it had be his early career. No! It was some actor I never heard of named Marc Singer. This guy needs to be Kevin Bacon's stunt double or something.

Now I'm watching the new "V"... and I coulda swore I saw Michael J. Fox playing the V brown-noser reporter that seems to be modernized male version of the "Kristine Walsh" character from the original V. Well, that's odd, I thought Michael J. Fox was semi-retired from acting and stuck to mostly voice-over work since he has Parkinson's disease, but this guy seems to be doing just fine as a major character on a TV series. So I look it up, and no -- it's not Michael J. Fox but the similarly named actor, Scott Wolf! This guy could be Michael's twin brother. In fact, he ought to call himself Scott K. Wolf just to make sound even better. I never heard of Scott Wolf either, but like Marc Singer, he needs to consider working as Michael's stunt double.

Marc Singer and Scott Wolf, I never heard of you guys, but you do a great job impersonating two better known celebrity actors. If there's a third incarnation of "V", they need to find some little known actor who looks just like John Travolta, so we can continue the tradition.
