Question about the shows cancellation

I finished watching the first 3 episodes of the first season. As V has been canceled, I only wanted to ask due to the cancellation of the show, if the story feels rushed by the end of the second season or if they ended it on a well played out and high note?

reply

It ends on a cliffhanger.

You're clearly an idiot, don't get mad because I tell you the truth.

reply

Not good :(

You could say it ends on a cliff hanger. And most upon hearing this think of that has a bad thing. IT IS NOT a bad thing that. It's actually a pretty good thing. Because the way it ends means ANNA WON and the humans lost. So how is that a bad ending. Humanity wont always win every time. Wake up to reality. Be it nature or otherwise. Humanity will get it's ass kicked from time to time. And in this ficticious incident Anna did the ass kicking!. I am really really happy with how it ended because it is a breath of fresh air in a world of STALE outcomes to movies and TV shows.

"A Cannibals desire feeds the fire than burns in your head."

reply

Agreed. It's not really a cliffhanger, it's basically Anna winning.

reply

That's correct. And all I have to say in response to the ending of season two is... YAY!.

"A Cannibals desire feeds the fire than burns in your head."

man....r u human or an alien??
please write this below "I am not a bot neither an alien, just human."
I could write because, well I am a human.
don't know about you.
P.S. The copy option has been disabled by the alien technology, try copying and you will see!! It sucks..

A major problem with it ending when it did (aside from the fact that there was still a lot of story left to tell) is that it ended before 100 episodes. One hundred episodes is an important landmark for a TV series. Unless there are at least 100 episodes it's difficult to get a series into syndication, no syndication means it doesn't get shown that often, it not being shown often means we don't get to enjoy reliving the episodes as much as we want.

I'd say we all won because we got to see a steamin' hot Mitchell in sexy underwear.
Well worth waiting 2 seasons for.

Yes you couldn't call it a cliffhanger, it just fell off the cliff as opposed to being left hanging! It has a similar ending to Twin Peaks (which ironically was also cancelled 20 years before by ABC). The end is pretty final (with characters dying and a major defeat of good by evil) however had the series been picked up for a third season it could have been taken in a direction which would have allowed for a turn around and a happy ending.

Sadly, it looks as though the ending it got will constitute the overall end of the saga and story.

I disagree that it didn't end on a cliffhanger. Erica is now member of another organisation that will rebell against the V's.

reply

It's a bit frustrating, because the ending is cut off. Nobody has won at that point, but a new plot twist gets added right at the end, implying that there is more to come.
