A closed ending?
Hi all,
I once saw the first 4 episodes and I really liked it. But how open is the end? I hate to see an ending like The Golden Compass.
Sorry for my bad English but I’m from The Netherlands

The series ends with all the V ships heading toward earth getting the invasion started. Tyler also dies a good death. This was where it was gonna get good, bit ABC had canceled it leaving that cliffhanger unresolved.
You're clearly an idiot, don't get mad because I tell you the truth.
The ending so reminded of the crap they pulled 25 years ago when they cancelled the original series on NBC. No resolution whatsoever. That's the reason I don't like networks like ABC, NBC, and CBS. They don't give shows time to develop especially these days. Science fiction really doesn't fare well on them and never really has. Now V had its problems with storytelling. I can't deny that. But being on a network like ABC was like sealing their fate. I always thought Scyfy would have been a better fit. I really liked what they did with Battlestar Galactica.
shareIt did have an ending, human's lost.

Sadly a cliffhanger, but you probably know that by now. V: THE SERIES (1984) had more closure, but even that one ended with a cliffhanger. This is a shame. Next time "V" is rebooted, it has to be one mini-series, or one self contained movie.
