So, about two noteworthy guest appearances...

1. Jane Badler.

So the V remake aliens have RED blood instead of green?

That's  number 47... based solely on the 5 episodes I watched.

This show was one gaffe after another since the pilot.

Jane Badler - it was nice to see her again, good performance, but wasted talent. She should have come back into the show a lot earlier, but then a lot of things about this remake should have been different...

2. Marc Singer.

Why not come back as Donovan? The clip I saw of him entering the trite black room and announcing himself as Lars had me rolling on the floor laughing, it was that BAD. Once again, good actor - wasted talent. But at least "Diane" had potential (what, not "Diana" to make things interesting?)

Yeah, the reason I gave this a chance was because I knew Badler was on it, and I wanted to see how she held-up, and how she'd do. She looked good, and I thought her acting was even better. On the first V series her character was very campy, as was the show, and she played her over-the-top, which made it fun.

This version was a little less campy, and took itself more seriously. Or at least the producers did.

I guess the producers wanted the publicity & potential viewers Badler & Singer would bring -- like me! But at the same time, they seemed to resent them/their popularity/any connection to the older series. They were as passive-aggressive as you can be: they wanted the extra attention to help the ratings, yet resented the 1st series so much that they gave those two new characters to play (supposedly). I remember the head producer really stressed that Jane would definitely NOT be written into season 3. Well, he kept his word.

It's a moot point since it didn't get renewed, but I thought the only chemistry that really worked -- huge cast -- was between Diana, Anna & Vandervoort. They played-off each other very well, and helped humanize the Visitors enough to make them intriguing, sympathetic, and give them some needed depth.

Some people don't know a good thing when they have it. Take care. ;p
