Why do they allways have to be bad?

Why is it that there can't be any aliens that comes in peace, sharing technological breakthroughs and basically just trying to be nice. And, to make a story, a bunch of people start a terrorist organization to drive them out. Of course, the aliens will not try to revenge themselves, they will not be able to understand the hostility, because they don't know the concept,so we humans have to take care of it. Just an idea from someone who is starting tobget tired of aliens allways being the bad guys, like the native Americans in the old westerns. :)

I'm still amazed that as humans we still want to believe that an alien species is going to be kinda/sorta like us. Maybe their anamorphic qualities will differ but they'll still have some semblance of humanoid structure. The truth is, space is so vast and distant that postulating that a visiting alien would be a biological life form really seems outdated

Haha, good question, but would we come in peace? Or we would pretend to come in peace, and convince ourselves that we are peaceful while we were committing genocide and stealing their planet.

Not even fictional aliens can be bad guys without someone getting offended nowadays.
