Ok I think we could've done better with this movie if it wasn't a love story like no body panics there just like. Oh giant miterer heading towards us, well i better finish mowing the lawn instead of starting a fire or lotting like all the over people in the movies do, nope i'm just not goanna care.
shareI actually found it pretty realistic... If the world ever came to a counting-down-to-the-end situation, not EVERYONE is going to be a militant survivalist or a psycho looter, the type of people that were represented in this movie.
I guarantee you, there ARE going to be those that spend their last weeks going to work, or mowing their lawn. People are strange that way, everybody will deal with their inevitable end differently.
I would definately stop going to work. But I probably wouldn't steal things or kill anyone, because why would I, unless I was insane.
I would spend my last month with my family, eating and drinking only my favourite foods and my favourite wines.
When the end comes you can't take anything with you, all you can do is make those last moments count for something - and I would do just that.
