During the season opener I thought: hell, they can't do much more with Joy and Freddie Fruitcake. I was kinda disappointed that she survived the blast. Guess the writers must've thought the same thing and they wrote her off in that episode as well. It still came as a tremendous surprise when the friendly police investigator stuck the pencil down her throat.

When I first heard of Psychoville, she was one of the main reasons I gave it a go (I knew it had to be good because she was in it).
As for the Freddie Fruitcake story... well it doesn't have to be based on Freddie Fruitcake...
Is it confirmed if she is out of the show? Or will she be playing another character?
shareThese guys aren`t afraid to take a bit of a risk, they killed off Edward and Tubbs in the league so it wouldn`t suprise me if that was the end of Joy. Plus there`s so many good characters anyway and a couple more they`ve brought into the mix, and with a name like Psychoville you`ve gotta expect a bit of killing.
If you keep an open mind... you`ll discover dark secrets.
No offense, guys, but I hope Joy is gone for good. Perhaps I'm not a dark enough viewer, but the sight of Joy and Jennifer was just a little too disturbing for me. Admittedly, Maureen and David have their moments, but Joy was beyond the pale to me. Plus, I love the new characters like the librarian so I wouldn't miss her at all if she was gone for good.
I have a policy about honesty and ass-kicking. If you ask for it, I have to give it to you.
SPOILER ALERT for anyone who hasn't watched episode 2 yet...
Having seen Robert offed in episode 2, it occurred to me: would there be anything to stop them from bringing Joy and Robert back as ghosts or zombies?
Just a thought...
