I guess I don't get the whole Dragon Warrior thing

It's like Rock, Paper, Scissors. Po beats Tai Lung. Tai Lung beats Tigress. Tigress beats Po, so on and so forth....Did anybody else find this odd?

My weekly horror podcast. Yay for me. http://deaddelivery.net84.net/

Tigress managed to keep Po back. And managed is a word I'm using liberally because she does absolutely embarrass him.

But I don't think that counts as beating him in a fight, and I'm not convinced she would beat him in a fight. I think the thing with Po is, if you keep pushing him, eventually you get wrecked. That's because, for one thing, he seems to be able to keep going and going and going and going and... And then, Po specializes in throwing his opponent's strengths back at them (as seen in the fight with Tai Lung) and letting them make mistakes (which eventually gets Shen killed).

In the prison, Po wanted to get past Tigress. So he has to make the first moves, which gives Tigress the opportunity to react rather than try to make any attacks on him and get them thrown back in her own face.

And anyways, he only gets thrown back twice before Tigress seems to simply persuade him (rather than force him) to stay in the prison. What may have happened if the confrontation actually became a fight, and was then allowed to go until somebody was actually defeated, we don't get to see.

Of course, Po was either bluffing when Tigress convinced him to stay or he changed his mind after the Furious Five left...

Yes Rico, kaboom.
