This time, Po and the Five must help a traveling Master Panther Samurai named Hiraku and his flying squirrel sidekick, Maza, save China from an invasion of Tanuki ninjas, who were really sent to assassinate the Dragon Warrior. When Hiraku seeks refuge with Po's long lost actual father, Khan, and his village, Po tries to rekindle his relationship with him while trying to keep himself and his family safe from these rogue Japanese warriors in black who are out to take over Kung Fu. Master Shifu fears the leader of these ninjas is perhaps a former enemy of Master Oogway and possibly Tigress' long lost father.)
