There is a demand for this?
I don't get it. Who exactly was clamoring to see this movie?

there is always a demand for cheesy action flicks with smart mouthed good guys with big muscles, punching out villains, doing crazy stunts, and saving scantily clad babes.
shareDiesel is a smart mouth? Most of the time I have no idea what he saying in his constant macho blabbering.
shareI was speaking in a general sense, In Xanders case it would be marble mouthed.
shareReturn of Xander Cage. Hey, it only took 15 years. I hope nobody was waiting for this. They had one hell of a long wait. I wonder if anybody's going to care that Vin Diesel is back as xXx. I liked the first movie, but that was a long time ago. Years ago, Vin Diesel walked away from Fast and the Furious and this to do Riddick. I was never a big Riddick fan.
shareExactly. Who cares? The character was never that popular to begin with.

Good or bad is subjective, I liked the first (although I admit it was far from perfect) hated the second, and hope to enjoy the third. But hey, if you can tell you'll hate it just from the trailer, you just saved some money, and like Ben Franklin said a penny saved is a penny earned. (Never thought I'd be able to link Ben Franklin and Vin Diesel in a conversation, I think I win a prize.)
shareI honestly think I like the second one more than the original, but I'm okay with another film, and with Vin Diesel. Looks like they're adding more sports related action, as opposed to a more conventional action movie like the second one, which I thought made the original look ridiculously over the top. I just hope they don't flat out ignore the events of 2, and actually explain Xander's supposed death.
They're not great movies, but popcorn entertainment.

This is going to be a mega-flop of epic proportions! When I saw this I thought " I can't think of you many movies Id want to see less than xxx3 the return of Xander cage" just no. I love it when idiots lose money due to a film like this..How it made it into production is beyond me..What a joke.
Who wants to see Vin Diesel, an actor clinging onto his career for dear life despite the overrated FF movies, star in Xxx3? What we have here is a B-movie "trilogy" if we can even call it that. It's ridiculous title itself is one that will have people skipping over it.
I love epic flops almost as much as I love a masterpiece because you deserve to lose money with an idea so stupid. Will it even make the theater or go strait to DVD..that's the real question
*Too many..Auto correct won't stay off on IMDb for some reason
shareGood question.
What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
This movie will make a lot of money in India. Deepika Padukone is basically the Indian Jennifer Lawrence in terms of popularity. Not to mention fans of Vin Disel, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose. The Chinese watching for watching for Donnie Yen along with his international fans (and Tony Jaa's) and new fans following Rogue One the previous month.
This movie has something for everyone not to mention releasing in a slow month for movies where normally Oscar bait movies play, will give the average moviegoers something to watch.
Whether the movie is actually good or not is a totally different question but it will make a lot of money regardless.
Taken had a January release and that was a major hit. Deadpool proved that a release in February can still rake in the dough. So only time will tell.
All I need is one mic...
I am wondering the same thing. The first XXX was OK, it was stupid fun, good for one-time viewing. It wasn't even a big hit of the box office.
shareVin Diesel fans asked for it...
The first one made 277 Million Worldwide which is 370 Million in 2016's money. That's a lot.
Vin Diesel was.
Lose the Game!!!!!!!
