This movie is gonna be a hilarious action movie

I was about to reference that.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

That's one thing you can say about this movie, it knows what it is and is having fun with it.

If the action is good, and the martial artists can put on a show, and the girls are hot and the locations interesting looking this movie could be a big hit...just because it's pure nonsense and is there to be an action spectacle.

I also agree that January is good for this movie.

The xXx Xander Cage formula, from the very beginning, was meant to be a send-up of the Bond film genre while appealing to a younger generation. It worked. It was successful, and continues today to be an enjoyable film. It is hard to find any "crucial" flaws and doesn't require a whole bunch of "suspension of belief" (other than the Corvette bridge jump scene... and maybe the silver serving platter being used to "surf" down a handrail... and maybe...) Well, you get the idea.

The film is no less credible or unbelievable than a Bond film (which has always been the basis for comparisons in this genre).

Notice the tight editing, the superb soundtrack, the amazing casting. (I'm serious... it was a stroke of genius that we can credit to Rob Cohen!)

I think we can all agree that the second film was lacking in so many ways, but the newest film promises to restore the Xander Cage glory. Can't wait!!!

Oh, and he drives a 1967 Pontiac GTO. How cool is that????
