So, what do y'all think about this new XXX: Xander Cage Returns movie?
Let's hear how you feel.
shareLet's hear how you feel.
shareI think despite Diesel being a little older (and surrounding himself with young hot women makes him look older than he is) it looks like cheesy fun. Silly stunts, Samuel L. Jackson, Donnie Yen, explosions, eye candy, what's not to like.
shareWe might be pleasantly surprised but it's kind of weird to see a movie with a 48 year old who never really matured and still acts like in his 30s. Time will tell. I'm still gonna buy tickets to watch it with you friends
shareI'll be seeing it. The first one was awesome in my opinion. I'd like to think that this is a proper sequel to the first and that the second one isn't even canon because that one was just a trainwreck.
shareThe second one was such a trainwreck, that the climax had an trainwreck, I don't know if the director or writer knew they had a turkey on there hands and were giving an exasperated wink to the audience, or clueless coincidence.
shareThis movie is going to be a huge hit. It has one of India's biggest stars, one of China's biggest stars (that's basically a third of the world's population) one of America's biggest action stars and a bunch of other people from popular shows (a guy from Game of Thrones, Ruby Rose from Orange is the New Black...).
I think they are doing the right thing by not taking themselves too seriously and going with over the top action. As much as I think it will be ridiculous it will be fun to watch. It's a throwback to action movies of the past...big explosions, hot women and lots of chases and fights.

It's over a decade too late but it could be fine.
What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
Let's give this thread a little bump for others to see.
