Not a good buzz around the movie and it looks as if it was stuck in 2002. I. e. it does not look hip, or cool for today's kids.

I remember back in 2002 they promoted this franchise as a "cooler version of James Bond", that would certainly dethrone James Bond.
Well that didn't really turn out to be the case now is it...
It's just empty action by elderly young people.
To be fair, I'd rather watch xXx than any of the Bond movies post Casino Royale. :P
