How many times have you seen this pose?
The "back-to-back while wielding two pistols" pose, I mean. Fast and Furious 6 and Disgaea 5 already did that. Apparently, so does this movie. Wonder if there's a trope for that?

shareIt's more of an cliche at this point more than a trope and an it's an corny one.
It looked cool when it was done in early Asian action flicks but it's now something that's product for parody right about now.
What Asian movies did this cliche, then?
shareJohn Woo did it in The Killers. This was the first I've seen this and I cannot recall a movie that did it before that.
shareThat's it? No other movie?
shareBy the way, if anyone still isn't convinced that Disgaea 5 did this, here you go, take a look at this screen cap.

I'm convinced that where it started from and it's been imitated in movies after that.
But keep in mind that John Woo before Hard Target and his movies prior to that were had huge following leading to imitator flicks here in the states.
2 Guns had the best one of its imitators.
2 Guns? Can you please show me?
shareHow about holding and shooting 2 guns at the same time. I'm so sick of seeing this. I remember Antonio Banderas doing this in "Desperado" in the year 1995 and it was old then.
shareI'm a huge fan of seeing characters holding and shooting two handguns! Barney Ross in The Expendables does it in all three movies, and my hero, Reiji Arisu from Namco X Capcom, uses two handguns Equilibrium-style!
shareI just saw this movie, and I must admit, Adele and Serena shooting enemies left and right was probably one of the most badass things I've ever seen in any movie.
